Heating and Electrical Requirements

The 46" and 66" models provide supplemental heat on 120V or 240V connections. The 86" model does not produce heat at 120V; connect it to 240V if heating is required. The optional OLFPLUG power cord kit is suitable for 120V installations only. Refer to the installation guide and a qualified electrician for wiring requirements.

Built-In Installation, Water Supply and Airflow

Optimyst® Linear is designed for a framed built-in installation. A fresh air inlet is required beneath the firebox: at least 80 sq. in. for 46", 120 sq. in. for 66", and 160 sq. in. for 86". A direct water connection is recommended for regular use. The optional plumbing kit and optional air-intake grilles can be selected above; the grille add-on includes the manufacturer-recommended quantity for your chosen size.
