The Touchstone Forte Steel features a matte black, glass free metal mesh screen. The mesh black screen provides a glimpse of traditional design to this contemporary fireplace. Operate the 3 LED flame colors with the included remote control, or with the touchpad on the unit. Change the flame color from orange to blue, and a combination of both. Go from a calm peaceful ember fire to full fire blaze with the 5 flame intensity settings. Heat and flame controls work independently, so you can enjoy a rolling fire in any season. This fireplace is not meant to be used as the single heat source for your space. The Forte Steel has a built in timer for shut off in 30 minutes to 7.5 hours. This fireplace provides supplemental heat for a space up to 400 sq ft. Log and crystal media is included. This fireplace is meant to be inserted in a wall, but can be mounted to a wall, if desired. Heat vents are located in the top front of the unit. Touchstone recommends that the Forte Steel be placed at least 8" below your mounted flat screen or ceiling, for safe heat clearance.
